Gold Coast Mortgage was opened on Feb 15, 2001 and moved to its present location in the North Gate Square in November, 2001. It was incorporated on April 28, 2003 as Gold Coast Ventures, Inc., a Nevada corporation. From humble beginnings, Gold Coast Mortgage has evolved into a highly trained and motivated company. Excellence, Education, Accountability, Integrity, Teamwork and Professionalism are what we practice on a daily basis. Every person at Gold Coast Mortgage subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (see the left sidebar on this web site).
Our founder and President, Doug Isaacson, is well-known throughout the State and within the national mortgage industry, having served in multiple positions of leadership. He was one of the architects of Alaska's newly passed mortgage licensing bill that covers bankers, brokers and originators. He currently serves as the Vice President for the Alaska Association of Mortgage Brokers (AKAMB) and on the Delegate Council for the National Assiociation of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB).
Gold Coast Mortgage is a member of the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Fairbanks Board of Realtors, the Interior Alaska Builders Association. Our staff are involved in numerous organizations including the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Alaska Association of Mortgage Brokers.
