Mabel Ann (Esmailka) Generous is a Koyukon Athabaskan Alaskan Native born and raised in Nulato, a village along the Yukon River 380 miles from Fairbanks. She is mother to three adult daughters all who attended the Catholic Schools of Fairbanks. Mabel's parents, who still practice a subsitence lifestyle, instilled in her a strong work ethic. She has over 30 years of Office Management experience and has been helping Alaskans obtain home mortgages for the past 4 years. She enjoys helping her customers with their home purchasing and refinancing needs and works very hard at finding a loan that matches their needs. Doug is an involved parent of five active children, a community leader, a former Russian linguist with the USAF, an alumnus of the University of Washington in Seattle, and of Western Seminary in Portland, OR. He has been in the credit and finance industry since 1991. From 1991-1995, he developed the Trans Union data base and a Mortgage Reporting Service (MRSI) in Alaska--he even travelled to the Russian Far East and spoke with Banking officials to assess the possibility of developing credit bureau files there. In 1992 he was the Founding Chairman of the Board of the International Credit Association, Fairbanks Chapter. In 1996 he went to work for City Mortgage, at that time the largest mortgage company in Alaska, and became the Fairbanks Branch Manager.  He opened Gold Coast Mortgage in 2001. He was President of the Alaska Association of Mortgage Brokers (AKAMB) from 2005 - 2006 and helped draft the legislation licensing Mortgage Originators, Lenders, and Brokers in Alaska. He currently serves as Vice President of the AKAMB and represents the industry on the Delegate Council of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB). He is a NAMB Silver Medallion Member.
